God Rich In Mercy
$4.00
God Rich in Mercy (Eph 2:4) is the Pastoral Resource that will be used by Catholics who join Pope Francis in the second year of his initiative, “24 Hours for the Lord.” This title mirrors the theme that will guide reflection this year.
The purpose of this resource is to offer some suggestions that will enable parishes and Christian communities to prepare themselves to live the Pope’s initiative during the penitential season of Lent. These suggestions may be adapted to local needs and customs, as is appropriate. (Please click on Preview inside pages above to become more familiar with the content of this resource.)
For 24 hours on March 13-14, the faithful will be offered the opportunity for Confession and Eucharistic Adoration in parishes designated by Bishops in their respective dioceses. It is thought, as possible, the 24-hour period could conclude on Saturday evening with the Vigil Mass for the Fourth Sunday of Lent.
During this time, Pope Francis himself will preside at a penitential celebration at St. Peter’s Basilica in order to place the Sacrament of Reconciliation at the center of the Church’s mission of the new evangelizatio n.
Pope Francis on Confession
Throughout his Pontificate, the Holy Father has spoken frequently of the importance of mercy, forgiveness, and Confession. In a General Audience in November 2013, he said, “You turn red once, you’re absolved of your sins , and you move on.”
At another General Audience in February 2014, he encouraged his flock: “Do not be afraid of Confession! … [W]hen one finishes Confession one leaves free , grand, beautiful, forgiven, candid, happy. This is the beauty of Confession! … Jesus is there, and Jesus is more benevolent than priests. Jesus receives you; He receives you with so much love. Be courageous and go to Confession!”

For Real : Christs Presence In The Eucharist
$16.99Add to cartThe teaching of Christ’s real presence in the Eucharist began with Jesus sharing with his apostles, followed by their education of early Church leaders, which extends to our priests and the Church of today. Throughout all of this time the baton never drops. The teaching has never changed from the original presentation of Jesus himself to the apostles gathered with him for the Last Supper.
A cradle Catholic and former skeptic himself, Deacon Dennis Lambert presents evidence to radically change, affirm, or deepen your belief in the real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist. The book also provides a thought-provoking way to share the truth with others.

Jesus And The Jewish Roots Of The Virgin Mary
$24.95Add to cartThe bestselling author of Jesus and the Jewish Roots of the Eucharist casts new light on the Virgin Mary showing that she is an icon for women and men to emulate in contemporary society.
Are Catholic teachings on Mary really biblical? Or are they just traditions made up by old white men? Is she truly the “Mother of God” or just the mother of Jesus? Did she actually remain a virgin her whole life or do the “brothers of Jesus” refer to her other children? By praying to Mary, are Catholics “worshiping” her? And why are these points of doctrine relevant to securing a proper understanding of Jesus Christ?
Jesus and the Jewish Roots of the Virgin Mary, Dr. Pitre will take readers step by step through Sacred Scripture from the Garden of Eden to the Book of Revelation and show just how amazingly Biblical the Catholic Church’s teaching on Mary really is. Dr. Pitre will use the Old Testament and Ancient Judaism to unlock how the Bible itself teaches that Mary is nothing less than the Mother of God, the Queen of Heaven and Earth, the New Eve, and the New Ark of the Covenant.
